Stage52 Projects

Stage52 is an events & theatres production CCA, based in Ngee Ann Polytechnic from the School Of Film & Media Studies. For the academic year of 2021/2022, I was appointed as the President. Leading discussions, preparing proposals, and working alongside stakeholders are some of the responsibilities involved.

FRESHIE EVENT X ANNUAL PLAY 2021

Freshie Event is an event in which the Year 1 batch have to plan from scratch for the upcoming batch of freshies who are joining the school. As the Event IC, my team and I were tasked to come up with an interactive play in which the participants are able to take part online. The concept we did was 'Murder, Mystery' and participants had to crack the case of "Who Killed 52?"

GENERAL MEETINGS (GM)

After the new EXCO batch of AY 21/22 were appointed, we had to call upon new members to join. Due to COVID-19, we had to hold GMs online but we still made it enjoyable for the members through incorporating different themes such as 'Bubble Tea' and 'Sims' for the GMs. Based off these themes, we also planned different activities for them to partake in.

GM PROMOTION

Video edited by the Phodeo (Photography & Videography) Heads, it is one of the videos that we had to film based of the theme, 'Sims'. As Sims is a virtual simulation of the real world, we focussed on the type of sports that people enjoy doing in both Sims and in real life.

SCAREFEST PROMOTION

Scarefest is Stage52's flagship event and own rendition of the famous 'Halloween Horror Nights'. Due to COVID-19, we are not able to execute the event in person however we still do so virtually by letting the audience watch a series of walkthrough videos that are filmed from the POV of the participants for them to get a more immersive experience.

SCAREFEST 2021

Scarefest 2021 took place on 17th December 2021. For this event, I co-led as the Event AIC. The theme of Scarefest this year is unique as it is the first-ever Christmas x Horror themed event we have done. After promoting the event, we managed to garner 89 participants and with the proceeds collected, it was donated to the NP Student Aid Fund, to help students who are struggling financially with their expenses.
